I really wanted to make the trip but I'm slam packed this weekend! I would encourage people to attend. It's a great learning experience and it's a rush to bid on things with a paddle! 8)

Please take photos Dale and record your experience here with us.

Well I went, and left. There were a lot of decient koi being auctioned, but nothing in what I would of even considered bidding on. Most of what size I would of liked was still going for 80-100 bucks. Lots of koi over 24" that were sold for under 60 bucks. There was a great quality Sanke what went for 75.00 thats was full of eggs. They got a bargain. The owner of Cali. Koi Farm ended up gatting a high quality asagi for 120. (about 24") and a SU (also over 24") for 150.00.

There wasnt much time to take any. They were running threw the auctions since they has soo many koi to get rid of. Im not saying all the koi were cr@p, but lets just say that it was just koi that people didnt want in their ponds anymore. there were other things I noticed, but I dont want to just blurt things out. If you want ti know more, you can PM me and I'll tell you that way....

On the other hand I did get to see some of Takami's breeding stock, other fry ponds, and more of his better quality koi for sale. I loved that part. I'll take pics next time I go of that area.
